Green Turtle Cay Cheeseburger in Paradise party held on the 1st of July was a massive success! The Green Turtle Cay community came out in full force raising over $20,000 dollars benefiting Amy Roberts Primary School and the Green Turtle Cay Volunteer Fire Company. A little rain during the day didn’t stop the party from rolling along, over 2,000 burgers were served and the entire day went off without a hitch! Volunteers and the committee were a strong team resulting in the day’s success.
The Cheeseburger in Paradise Party has become a yearly pilgrimage where people from all over and locals alike grab some burgers, meet new friends and most importantly donate money to great causes! It’s an all day festival of food and fun that is always the “can’t miss” party of the summer in the Abacos. Missed the fun this year? Mark your calendars now for next year!
