Earle Bethell – the new general manager of the Hope Town Harbor Lodge

Hope Town Harbor Lodge, an iconic resort nestled between Hope Town Harbor in Elbow Cay and the Atlantic Ocean, is pleased to announce the hiring of Earle Bethell as the new general manager of the historic property.
Earle brings over 30 years of experience in Bahamian hotel operations to the Hope Town Harbor Lodge team. Mr. Bethell earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management from Morris Brown College in 1983, and since then has worked his way up through the ranks to General Manager. Previously, Earle has been the Director of Front Office Operations at the Carnival Crystal Palace Hotel & Casino, Deputy General Manager at the Radisson Cable Beach Hotel, General Manager of the Nassau Beach Resort and General Manager at the Comfort Suites Paradise Island.
Throughout his career in the hospitality industry, Earle has also made it a point to stay active in the community as well. Earle is a former President of the Bahamas Hotel and Tourism Association, he presently serves in the capacity of the Treasurer. Earle was given the 2006 Hotelier of the Year Cacique Award as well as the prestigious Paul Harris Fellow Award. He is also a past president of the South East Rotary Club of Nassau and Cancer Society. Earle’s work in both hotel operations and philanthropic endeavors place him at the heart of the Abaco community.
Earle’s wealth of experience in the travel industry and hotel operations will surely lead the Hope Town Harbor Lodge into an exciting new era. “I look forward to working with the wonderful team at the Hope Town Harbor Lodge.
