On December 18th, 19th and 20th the Hope Town Association, with the creative direction of Monica Cook will be designing and building the 2nd annual Hope Town Christmas Village to celebrate the Holidays. Taylor Park on Elbow Cay will transform from a tropical oasis into a winter wonderland. People from all over Abaco and beyond are invited to witness the spectacle that will be Christmas in the Village.
On opening night there will be a tree lighting ceremony with tons of delicious food and drinks from participating restaurants and organizations. The Christmas Market will be stocked with all kinds of homemade baked goods, original artwork, jewelry and more. The premier activity of the three day event will be the ice skating under the stars, but there will also be caroling, a mini golf course and lots more games for the whole family to enjoy. On the second night of the event there will be a festive Christmas Junkanoo and be sure not to miss the third and final night, as Santa will be making an appearance! The event was such a great success last year, so mark your calendars and bring the whole family to make this year’s Hope Town Christmas Village an even bigger success!
