Tuesday, January 21: Captain Linnea Sommer-Weddington, a highly decorated United States Navy Commander will talk about her experience as a high-ranking female in the US Navy, her top secret career in cryptology and Naval Intelligence, and her recent tour in Afghanistan. Tuesday, February 18: Dr. Lawrence (Lorry) Malm, a Physician with 34 years of solo and group practice experience, most recently with the world-renowned Cleveland Clinic, will talk about the Future of Medicine, and what this new era of Health Care Delivery means for our own health and well-being. Tuesday, March 18: Brigitte Bowyer, Melissa Maura, and Kim Rody, three artists of distinction, well-known in the Abacos and around the world, will talk about their inspirations, the evolution of their creative process, and share stories and insights into their work. Please make reservations with the Abaco Inn 366-0133. Reservations are 1st come 1st serve. Seating assigned so you can meet new friends as well as old. Doors open at 10AM. The program begins promptly at 11:00 AM, followed by a short Q&A. And, of course, we all enjoy a lovely buffet lunch, wine, iced tea, and dessert. The fee is $25.00, all inclusive.
