Bliss has blossomed!
New owners Leanne Russell and Claire Basden of Bliss Coffee House (formerly the Java Coffee House) in Marsh Harbour had their Grand Opening on Saturday, April 25th.
Bliss Coffee House opened their doors with a shop full of delicious muffins, cakes, cookies, and robust coffees, alongside a redecorated space that is more fitting of Bliss’ hip new vibe. It was apparent right from the start that a new vision and passion had been realized in the space. Leanne and Claire reconfigured the space to reflect their passion for the arts in Marsh Harbour and throughout the Abacos. New Art works by Attilla Feszt, Allan Wallace, and Leanne Russell were all on display for the customers.
Bliss Coffee House is also a venue that now boasts multiple different event configurations. Saturday was an exciting example of things to come when a yoga class was offered by Mychal Bryan and Alex Kaufman-Fox of Downtown Nassau Yoga Festival. The class was almost to capacity, and afterwards the students all enjoyed a fresh kale based green drink and some wholesome muffins. Saturday evening Bliss then transformed into a music venue for Nevandria Rolle & Rashad Leamount accompanied on acoustic guitar by Nano Mira. The musicians played to an energetic and large crowd that sipped wine and snacked on tapas throughout the event. So whether you’re in the need for an early morning pick me up, or a late night hot spot, you better visit Bliss Coffee House soon!
